Removing Rear Brake Hubs on 1950 L112 pickup

Please don't make the mistake I did by trying to pull the rear brake drum over the lug bolts. The lug bolts are part of the Brake Drum. You have to remove the axle nut and washer and the brake drum will slide off. The hub of the drum is keyed onto the axle. I chipped my drum flange by not looking at things a little closer and assuming it was the same procedure as newer vehicles. :(

Here is your brake light bracket. My son gave it a good beading with fine glass beads and then we blew some paint on it. Now it looks just like a NOS part. The paint was not set by the time that we went in for supper, so I will most likely get it in the mail tomorrow. I will let you know. I hope that it works for you. Enjoy. Nikkinutshop

If you had tried doing a site search first you would have found the info on how to remove the drum properly,it's been posted more than once.
