removing rear drums

Hi, I am wanting to remove my rear drums to inspect my brakes on my 1940 d3 twin wheel truck, How do I do this,

Get a BIG jack. Lift up under the axle, more towards the wheel assembly.
Put some big jack stands under it.
Remove the outer then inner wheels.
Then the drum should be visible.
I don't remember if there are any clips holding the drum on or not.
You will have to get to the back side of the drum and back off the adjustment so that the shoes can pass by any ridges that might be there.
