Truck Tire

I have aquired a 7.50" x 20" Split Rim tire and Rim for a truck. The Bolt pattern is 6 big holes on about a 8.75" bolt circle and the regular dished stlye rim like would be used on front or with dual tires. Would this be for an International truck or other??? I have Chevy and Model AA Ford and they are not 6 hole. Thanks in advance.

Re: Truck Tire

for the smaller internationals, that would be a 6 on 7 1/4 bolt spacing. I will have to measure one of the ones off the L150 I had, but I think it is the same.

Re: Truck Tire

I believe that is the common 6 lug "Budd" used on the -6and-7 K series and many others, still made in that bolt pattern.
The big question is: lock ring or Firestone RH 5deg semi drop center? If the later then scrap it, if the former then it is ok.

Re: Truck Tire

It is the one with the ring around the center on the inside of the rim. I am not familiar with that even though the big Chevy truck is that way. It sounds like it may be an International Rim & tire which at present have no use for. The old 7.5-20" tires are getting harder to find though. Thanks for the info. Cleddy

Re: Truck Tire

Sound more like a Firestone RH to me, I would junk it if it was. Lock ring wheels are easy to tell, the lock ring is at one of the outer edges of the rim.
IHC never put a Firestone RH 5 deg wheel on originally.
