Historic Data of IHC Production Rates by Model

Often someone posts a question related to production numbers for an IHC model.

The following internet search will take you to the Wisconsin Historic Society digital collection. The title searched for is ?Machine Production List? 1980.

To find your truck/vehicle model scroll down to the bottom of the index on the left side of the screen. You will find the truck line listed by ascending years. The first page is the B line Truck, then D line Truck, continuing up to 1980.

For example:
K line truck is on page 110.

The report will read:

Production line, model, year in, built out, eng dpt, number built
KB line KB-1 1947 1949 FTW 57950

My guess is that “year in” means production start year, “built out” means production end year. I do not know what “eng dpt” means.

There are cases where a models production run in years will exceed the report. In that case look for a second entry on another page.
