Fred W. Crismon

Fred W. Crismon, well known author of many truck history books including the “Gray” International Truck (Bible) Book, died of an apparent heart attack on September 9, 2009. His good sense of humor and vast knowledge will be missed.

The IH Scout and Light Truck Nationals honored Fred in 2007 as a “Real International Hero” and he will be remembered this weekend along with Ted Ornas.

The announcement is confusing. Did Fred die on 6-9-09 or was it this morning?
I met Fred Crismon at the Rimbey Alberta IHC show and shine. He was truly a gentleman and very knowledgeable on the IHC trucks. I am a better person for having met him Brian
